We are a hub that functions as a meeting place, support network and sewing workshop for refugees in our area, managed in collaboration with the Misericordia of Chiusi. We help young refugees use and develop their existing skills, knowledge and strengths.

As a group it is sometimes easy to see refugees as homogeneous and anonymous however each individual brings with them the culture and traditions of their own land and importantly the abilities that they have already learned and developed.

We see the enthusiasm and seriousness with which they participate in the life of the workshop. This is confirmation of their potential and expresses their desire to progress that unites them. In their creations, we discover elements of different cultures woven together in a sort of artisan dialogue, full of ideas and creative insights. A cross pollination of different cultures.
